So I started this blog about two years ago, basically cuz I was going throught The Clique page and I found this amazing blo " amazing blog "confessions of a fashionista" by Rachel and I decided I wanted to join this community, I had made so many friends via this blog and it's been amazing, but it seems like all of them had moved on and forgoten about me, Jessica, Gossip, Lauren and others girls once made my blog something I really loved.

A new blog! I know I´ve had two blogs already, and well none of them is actually a success, even tho I love your comments! But know that I´m starting a new process in my life (university) I feel like I need a new blog, something more demanding and coneccted whit what I will be doing four years from know (election time! lol) actually I will be working and I want to start something related to it, so at the same time I´m learing in university I´m reaserching for cute, fun ideas for my bussines.
I do have an idea of I want to do in the future, you may not know this but my real passion is party planning, I love parties, not night-crazy parties, more like home made parties with tons of cute decorations, lovely food and cozy feeling:) just love them. So I will make a blog with party inspiration boards, and the eventual recipe and life experiences on that field. I will continue to talk about random things in my life in this blog, and probably be closing Livin the Martha Style..I think I´m still to dependent to make a blog like that one. I hope you like my new blog, in not done yet, I have a lot of reasearch to do, but be posting any update here. And just for know I have prom pics! well actually like one, cuz the fotographer hasn´t come to my house yet:S.

Talking About Over Reacting...

So, you already read my thougths about the elections, and yes a week later I still not over with that subject. Although, my dear dear elect president leave the country on friday, to go to some meeting and stuff so nothing new there. But this was a great week, lots of interviews and lots of news:).
The best thing to be totally honest, well besides the part that I love them (first family), is the number of insults I could return. I know that sound weird, let me explain it, the fact is that my candidate JMS, comes from well a rich family, off course he is rich, his family used to own the most important newspaper in my country; but still he choose to serve tha country being a minister and working on politics. While being in the minestery (?) he plan the rescue of several hostages of the terrorists and other important things, but people in my country are well not the most gratefull so instead of going for him they were going for other candidate (I already explain the 9 candidate thing). Suddenly one of the candidates started to win all the surveys and everyone was sudddenly voting for him, for AM. My cousin, almost my second brother and my brother´s best friend were going for him. I have to confess that due to all the IB work I missed all this "media fenomenum", cuz when we didn´t know if could vote for our current president or not (re-election, a wholee new subject) I was making a math project about political surveys and results. I hated that project, I quit that project, I changed the subject of that project. So my information was based in like the first survey, and off course I wasn´t worried, cuz I was refusing the fact that we have elections, I love my current president so much that I didn´t want him to leave, so I just ingnored everything about elections and continued my school work. And then the referendum, that will allow our president another 4 years, went down. My family had who will be the choosen, the one that will get our votes (well I can´t vote actually, I turn 18, 3 days after the second round)and I just again ignored everything. Until april? I think. When my cousin asked me who was getting my parents votes, and I respond JMS I guess, and he and his family told my I was out, yes you are rigth Out!, he show me a few comercials about AM and suddenly I realize he was winning in almost every survey. How on earth this just happened? he was a crazy man, who ok, was a great city major but the last presidential elections he run, and make it a completly joke, for real. And well even when he is intelligent, he wasn´t ready, he is not ready and his debate performance was poor. I never changed my mind about my candidate, I never follow the fashion, the cute sunflower with well done green names, the lovely campaign AM had. Instead I choose JMS, the candidate, not the campaign cuz at the end you are voting for a person not for a campaing. I suppor him and his campaing, a not so flatering orange color with a simple design (I later learn that the color was choosen by him and his wife!!) I changed my backpack and use an orange one with orange scarf and his political pin. Then they changed the campaign to make it a little more familiar, with his name instead of last name but it was fine I keep my pin and backpack, people will still know JMS was my candidate, I had a pin with his last name on my backpack and have bits and pieces of both campaigns.
The thing is, that even when JMS was having a great debate performance and no apparent mistakes (like saying we will take our president to court in Ecuador, long story) he was going down in the surveys and well my cousin was taking advantage of this, he was making me feel like I was stupid, cuz my candidate was losing, cuz his candidate "will be the next president" and I "will recive green cupcakes with sunflowers for the victory", I spend about a month defending myself and my candidate, I was clear in my desition an even when I couldnt vote is still my country and I was worried about it. Almost everyone who was going for AM was mean to me, I can assure you that I wasn´t mean with them, I know I supported a great candidate with a great family and policy. People were so mean thinking they already had won the elections, they were really mean with me. They were thinking they were the winners and were saying they will win in first round so they thougth they could treat evryone as losers, as stupids and they did. Every time I posted something on FB they were there, making mean comments. Every time I said something, they were there making me feel like I was nothing. But I was sure of my candidate, he is prepared and I can´t tell you he is perfect cuz he´s not, but he knows the country and knows that security is a major issue here. Almost all my "green" friends were mean to me at some point or another, maybe they didn´t do it on pourpuse, or they don´t understand that this was important for me and that I choose the candidate not because he was winning, not because he is rich, but because he can do it, he had prove me and my country he can. All of my friends were thinking he was going to lose, they think the fact his candidate was on the top of the surveys make him the next president, and that that gives them the rigth to be mean with me or any other JMS follower. Well, they were wrong! First round come and they lost! and not by a little, by a lot!!! I was thrilled! However they were refusing it, you can´t imagine the speech made by AM the day of the first round, he was singing, saying that he was the only honest there, saying they had won. Among the three weeks in between the rounds they were still saying they were winning the second round and again they were wrong! almost every political party join my candidate during those three weeks and again we won!! By a lot (you already know the numbers) So I spend my week writing back, responding old mean comments with the truth. And making them know that their so called "green wave" wasn´t that big, letting them know that the elections are not a FB popularity contest, letting them know that we won.
Ok I realize this post is longer that I expected, sorry I just lovee politics! and I love the fact that we WON! I´m just hoping he will do a great job. I know he will try and give us the best!
Sorry if I bored you with all this politic subject. Next time I will try to keep it politics-free! lol:) Ohh you know what? Maybe next time I will post some Cancun and prom pics!

Lots of things had been going on here...

So, I´m officially a graduate girl! the ceremony took place in my lovely school last thursday, I read the speech (I write it two:)) and it was amazing. After 14 years of being there, there were no worlds to thank all the people who was with me througth the process, as you migth now I lovee that school and leaving it was a huge step for me. However I think the stage is completed and making the speech was definetly the best way to end the road. After that we headed a local restaurant for celebrate with family and friends, so many gifts (omg, that´s a holee new subject) and well a great night chatting with most of people that mean something for me, it was just perfect.
Off course before of this perfect day, I had the grade trip (to Cancun, Mexico) lots of party going on and beautiful places, I´m not the most party girl in the world but I did my best, and even when the trip was...let´s say different for what I expected it was fine, I become more close to some of my friends and discover things about other girls. It was fine. Then the prom! I was so exited, unfurtunatly I was sick:S from Cancun:S but I went with a lovely pink puffy costum made dress I love and pink satin peep toe with a bow shoes:) Lovely, it was one of the best nigths of my life, I party a lot, and had a great time with my family and close friends.
I can´t believe is all over, is sad and exiting at the same time, life is just beginig for me and I´m exited and scared. I have faith that my dreams will come true.
Well, now changing the subject, yesterday were the elections in my country, I´m not sure if you know this about me, but I looove politics, I´m not studying politics cuz I would be a bad politician I just know that, but I looooooooove politics. So the thing was rather simple, about three weeks ago we had a first round with 9 candidates, I was supporting one of them of course since the beging of the campaing and I love him:) anyway all the surveys said that he will be second, and the fisrt one will be this character, well he was my city´s mayor and was a great mayor but wasn´t ready for being the president of my country. My country is a difficult country, I love it but is truth, we have internal and external issues and let´s face it, being a mayor 1 and 1/2 times (yes, a half cuz he quited the second time) doesn´t prepare you to be president of a country. My candidate was a minister, three times, each one of different ministeries (that´s how you write it? idk) and I´m not saying he is perfect for the job, but he is prepared. So in may 30 we had our first round and surprisingly we WON! like with 46% of votes against 21% with the mayor guy AM, I was really happy! like REALLY happy! tons of friends and family had been mean with me, because thay were thinking they were going to win in the first round, and truth to be told they lost, and not for a bit, for a LOT! but Colombian laws said that if none of the candidates have more that 50% of the votes, we have to have a second round, so with 7 candidates less, the campaing continue three more weeks, one of them I was in Mexico so I didn´t hear much about it (and believe me I miss it)and the next two were rather calm. The day of my graduation was a debate wich I hear on the radio (not all tho). My candidate is great taking:) unfurtunatley he had to defend his self about tons of topics of past goverments, cuz people is mean and blame him, poor thing. Anyway, I figth a little bit in my graduation celebration cuz some of my invites suppor the other guy and I have very strong views and arguments, as I said before I loooove politics so every single piece of news about elections or candidates I had read it or hear about it. Anyway elections were yesterday and I was sacred, a lot of people didn´t vote (is not obligatory in my country) so I was scared that part of that 46% had convince themselfs that we had already won, while the 21% had convinced more people to vote or the ones that didn´t vote went and vote. Whichever the result was I really wanted to go to the celebration of my candidate JMS, it was like in the city stadium and I saw the invitation on his webpage, so my mom (so sweet) took me there with my grandmother:) (three generations supporting JMS!) when we were leaving we heard in the news that my candidate had already WON! they were counting votes, by the time half of the tables were counted and even if AM get all the remaining votes my candidate was still the winner. So we hurry up and headed to the stadium to celebrate! It was great, I loooove my candidate and his family, omg his wife is sooo cute! you have to see pictures of her, she´s like the perfect first lady! and I´m proud of him! I heard his entire speech watching him close to me (ok, not that close, but close enougth) I´m really really happy!! I have faith that his goverment will be as good as tha one of our current president!:D Here´s a pic:) cuz I just love them, so our NEW president is the one in the middle, his wife is in his left (our rigth)and so are his sons (and daugther) and in his rigth (our left) is the vicepresident and his family. I know is not the most clear pic but you get the idea.

Soooo you migth see that the past weekend was full of emotions and thougths for me, I just hope I didn´t bore you with this long long post

I Love Family Blogs

Hi there! Remmember me? I´m actually the blogger! lol.
Today I have a confession to make, I Love Family Blogs! you know, those blogs that show you the entire family progress and usually really cute baby pictures, a lot of this blogs are written by stay-at-home moms that told us, day to day how their lifes are. I know it sounds a little boring, I mean come on! reading about people's life, and unknown people´s life? yes I know it sound crazy, but I love them.
I lvoe to read about happy moms, with happy kids. No they don´t have perfect lifes, they are just happy with their lifes and took awesome and cute pictures of them. Stalker much? I know! But the thing is I think is destiny, I mean I just found one blog by clicking "next blog" on my "Living the Martha Style" blog, and I continue clicking "next blog" and continue discovering this amaizing world full of happy mommies!! Is wonderfull:)
Sometimes I just read the entire story of a family, you know most of their posting history and make about a comment or two, the truth is that by reading those blogs, each day I just know I meant to be a mom. Every time I see a picture of a lovely baby I know I want that, I can do that. Unfurtunatly I´m a boyfriend-less girl:(, young I know (just graduating for school) but desperate to have a family on my own.
Anyways, I highly recommend this family blogs, they show you how life can be, and how happy can you be with your normal life, happy and proud. What can I tell, I just love them!

I hate IB!

Hi there! This last few weeks had been the worst of my entire school life, I entire hate IB, the tons of work we have to do is just insane! and actually it have me wishing for my graduation day, instead of enjoying my last moments in school.
I'm pissed cuz I have really a lot of work and I feel like a falier, just because every teacher seem to think we are not able to do it, I'm thinking that nobody believes in my, and I'm not believing in my at all, Idk I'm just confused, sometimes I feel like the best thing to do is to quit but then I reconsider and think that the worst part is almost done, I already summit my extended essay, my TOK essay and my spanish essays. But there is still a lot of work to do and I'm freaking tired of this, plus I don't know if the university I like actually cares about Ib.
IDK I just make this post to let my feeling out for a time, instead of crying as usual!
I just hate IB!!! I´m counting the days till my prom and trip.

New Project!

Hi there! So my new project is finally here, I'm keeping this blog for more personal post and stuff and making a new one for my project. The project name is Living the martha style! and as you imagine is abou Martha Stewart! YAY! I totally love Martha so I'm going to use her recipes and crafts and things to make my everyday living, everytime I have a birthday or a holiday or just feel like it I'll go to Martha and find something to do her way.

Thanksgiving season!

Hi! It's thanksgiving season, and even thougth my country don't celebrate thankgiving I love this season of the year, the colors are just lovly and everything to be calm down between summer and christmas. Every season have its own lovely things but fall is special, when I think of fall I usually think of childhood afternoons in the park, happy times when nothing can go wrong. Anyway I just want to tell you: feel the season! is almos christmas season (wich I love too, my christmas tree is already in the living room;)) and vacations are just across the corner so relaz and enjoy this wonderfull climate and remmember back then when you used to be little and happy and when a mountain of leaves where the most fun thing in the world!
Current obsession: Flavor lip balms!! OMG a girl in my grade is selling lip balms and I swear I may be broke next month, I just got a cupcake lip blam and a citrus smoothie one! I love them!
& I also started watching Fox Glee, in my country it had been only 3 episodes and already I'm loving it! so I recommend that you buy a grat lip balm (usuall they are not expensive, once I got a jolly ranger one for 1 doller at Target) and watch Glee is really good!

Bon Voyage Party!

Hi! You know how much I love cupcakes, I talk about them all time, but you actually have seen only one of my cupcake creations, well here is the second, about a month ago a friend of mine leave my country and leave to France for university, since her parents weren't throwing her any good-bye party (long sad story) my mom and I decided we were. So we did! a Bon Voyage party just for her! I did cupcañes with a Martha Stewart recipe and use Betty Crocker vanilla frosting, wich I colored with food coloring, to have the colors of the French flag. It was reallly awesome! the party was great! for the brownies I use a little eiffel tower I had with a little frosting to decorate. Everything was really cute and perfect!

Soccer & Stuff!

Hi there! So long no post, sorry, I already lost the number of times when I have said sorru for not posting very often, the reasons? Well there are some reasons actually, one of the main reasons I don't post very often is because I don't have comments so somentime I feel like quiting, is not like a lot of people will notice you now, and the other main reason is school, even thougth I'm in eleventh grade and it's completly different to the dtress of tenth grade I'm still full of school things, I enjoy some of them but there are really the minority.
Anyway I have some news about school and all, well about a month ago I start playing soccer in my school team, it was a surprise for evryone even for me, because I'm such a girly girl and seriously not good at sports that everyone thougth it was a joke or something, but is true, I'm in the soccer team, and yesterday I recived my uniform, so is official now and today we have our first game against other only girls school wich I kind-of hate is like our rival, we lost :( but 2-1 so it wasn't that bad!
And today starts my 1 week vacation wich I'm going to enjoy a lot!!! and hopefully post a lot more!

Hi! Long time, no post:( Sorry 11th grade is been a busy year and I have to take advantage of it as long as it last. Today I saw the Lipstick Jungle final episode :(, I don't agree with the fact is over, I love that show! it was amazing and it ended in a sort of to be continue way I don't like:S.
Anyway my life is as boring as usual and I'm really really bad at math and sometimes I just want to graduate and go to university. Idk!

Hi! I know it had been almost a month since my last post but definetly my life is not beign that interesting to have a post per day...The title has actually nothing to do with the post is just something I feel like putting in the title, so I'm in 11th grade now, my last year of school:( and I'm trying to get the best out of it, as you know I love my school but recently I had been wishing to graduate as soon as possible cuz I'm tired of certain thing, althougth going to university makes me so nervous, partly cuz I'm not 100% sure about my career and partly because my security is in my school, the fact that I can wear my prom jacket and let everyone know that I'm a senior, deal with it, the fact that I have tons of friends and I can finally said I feel confortable there, I'm friends with the teachers and all! I just love that, and in university you are just another student...Idk I'm confused.
Nothing really interesting, sorry not beauty tips or yummy recipes, because I haven't seen any interesting one in these days.

Big City. Big Dreams!

Hi! I haven't post in a while I know:( sorry.
Last tuesday I had my very last first day of school it wasn't as exiting as I imagined, but being in 11th grade is totaly different for 10th grade, we have more attencion in some things while academic attencion and special treatment for beign the first IB prom seems to disappear, anywany I missed school on friday cuz I have a terrible cold:(...But on thursday during my typicall ride in the school bus I realized that my city is the place were a lot of people put their dreams, beign in different cities of my country make me realize that the fact that my city is the bigger and the capital of the country makes it, the dream land for so many people out there wich dream about make it into the big city, however some of my dreams are in my city practically my dreams are more in other countries than here, but the thougth of me as the girl who lived so many dreams of other people I don't even know make me realize how lucky I am, I born in a great city in a great country and if I stay here in the future the chances of making my dream come true are pretty high. Is just a wreid thougth, and make me wonder about me and my dreams, I mean I'm already living a dream, living a life that many people dream about and probably never been able to get, is just wreid.
Anyway passing my wreid thougths and phillosopical stuff, I have a little tiny tip for you hair, I am an expert whith hair tratments cuz I had used a lot, I love my hair and me being a perfectionist I iron it in a daily basis, so I use a lot of products so my hair doesn't get all the damge but sometimes all this products make my hair look like crap and even when I wash it I have the feeling that is still dirty so my advice to those who have bad hair days due to the quantity of treatments they use is simple use vinager, yes vinager, wash you hair normally and just after you wash out your conditioner spray some vinager in your hair or just pour a little and then wash it out with more water I had try this a hundred times and I gurantee it works! also it makes your hair looks shiny and is more soft!! I got tis tip from Jaclyn Smith from Sheer Genious and I love it!

Hi! So today officially start my last week of vacations, I have still so homework I haven't done cuz I've been busy resting;), the thing is on saturday I start a new art project but haven't ended yet and I'm starting to get stressed, but defenetly the thing that stress me more is this idea my mom have, the thing is one of her friends is taking her daugther to my school and one of them is entering to 10th grade, so my mom think it was a good idea that she came to my house (tomorrow) so I can teach her how to do art's logbook and how to do it rigth in the IB program, the thing is 1. I don't really want to, cuz nobody told me how to do it, I cry a lot during 10th grade and the result of all my stress and my organization and my obsession to do more things than I'm asked to I ended up beign the best in my art classroom and not failing any subject, in the back on my head I know I should be a nice girl and help her but in my mind is the fact that I do it on my own and I hink everybody should do it too, I've learn so many things about myself in 10th grade and I really think I had grown up a lot, I'm more independ and confident and I discover the real me and how to show it to the world without worrying about what everybody think of me, and the truth is art class has help me througth the process, the other thing is that I'm really competitive and when I do something really good (as my art's prejects and logbook) I'm really carefull because I don't want people copying me I really don't all my effort and all my stress is really to get results for me (I know how selfish that sounds) but is true I see absolutly no point on having all this if the result are for other one and that really piss me off, it most be the thing I hate the most. 2. I do not know this girl and my mom expect me to spent a whole summer vacation- almost over afternoo explain her how 10th grade works, yeah rigth as if I haven't spendt two entire months trying to foget how horrible and stressfull 10th grade is (you know the academic part), because I really want to have anticipation for 11th grade I want to want the first day and the fact that I'm not there yet freaks me out. Idk! I'm just so confused and I really want to get my project done before weekend so I can have three days for getting really for back to school, maybe I'm just putting and excuse for not open myself to a new girl, but really the last time one of my mom´s friends enetr her daugther to my school the girl lasts like a year on the school and all my friend kind-of hate her, and there I was in the middle of them trying not to be cruel. Maybe the girl torn out to be great but Idk, I'm insecure about it and I defenitly don't want to share my art secrets with someone I barely know!
Idk! Help me out!

Really cute ice cream idea, plus a little of my day

Hi! so today I bring you a lovely idea I found at Marthasteart.com, I haven't try it yet but it looks so cute I'm thinking of making a party only to try them, anyway for this summer project you will need ice- cream (the flavor you want but works better if you use the creamy one not sorbet), sprinkles (or any topping) and wood sticks , all you have you to do is scoop several balls of ice cream in a baking sheet, insert the stick on the ball and chill them until hardened, them roll scoops on the sprinkles and you are done!, this idea will take away the pressure of having to scoop the ice cream in the middle of the party and they look so much prettier than regular ice cream scoops in a bowl.
Well is time for telling you about my day, a normal summer day, I wake up pretty late :P, then after I was ready I have lunch (delicious pasta salad I love <3) and then my mom really kindly offer to take me to the movies, so I went with her to see "I love you man" (I know is kind of old but in my country movies premier a little late), when I arrived home my brother was with some of his friends and he was so mean with me so my mom take me to a mall to buy some binders I need for school, once there we discover that particular store didn't have the binders I want but we reserved some in the other location the traffic was a nigthmare and while we were in the car my mom and me have some girl talk, then we arrived and it was closed but I was so upset, they were supposed to close at 7 and it was 6:50 I still had 10 minutes, I really hate this sales assistans that treat you wrong, she didn't even open the door she just see me througth the glass door (not even leaving her chair) and wave me to go, I was so upset really I hate when people aren't nice and don't do their jobs rigth! Anyway I'm more calm now, but still tomorrow I'm going to get my binders!!

Hi! Sorry I haven't post in a while :(, but I was in a road trip! well actually I was in a cottage with my family but I made a Road trip to go there, it was so awesome. It was a hot weather place so my hair was pretty bad as far as I corcern. Anyway it was pretty good but I didn't have internet there, I only have a little internet when I went to the country club with my Iphone(I made a comment for Gossips from there). So this post is about my trip basically I went to one of the modern 7 world wonders (I think, well it was nominated and as far as I know it win) the name is "Cañon dal Chicamocha" well I can't translate that sorry! It was awesome and the rest of my trip was basically shopping and hanging by the pool and watching old movies with my little cousin, I watch the beauty and the beast and the last time I had seen that was years ago and is my favorite disney movie!, well that's about everything about my 10 day trip I have some picsas you can see.

A simple summer treat, usually forgotten!

Hi! Today I have a new idea for summer snack! And is an easy no-cooking project that you will enjoy doing and eating as well; I'm talking about cereal treats, I guess you have already taste them or at least hear about them. Well I must said they are like my favorite summer treat, just because is as easy as it can gets, no baking, no waiting, just enjoying! You will need:
Six tablespoons of unsalted butter
Six cups of Crisp rice cereal (or any cereal really, pick your fav!)
One bag of marshmallows
A saucepan
Melt the butter in the saucepan, them add the marshmellows until they're melted too, finally add the cereal you had choosen and mix them without taking the saucepan off the fire, when you're done you just have to give them a shape, you can make little balls or put the entire mix in a baking pan to make regular square cereal treats, another great idea is to use cookies cutters, but I haven't try it, so I'm not sure how it works. You can decorate them with color buttercream, I recommend not to use a los of buttercream cuz the treats will be really sweet, but is up to you!

Summer-ish!

OMG! What a week, I mean seriously so many things happen, we have my birthday on tuesday:) also on tuesday my 11th grade jacket delivery:D, then thursday well I was with my brother in his eye-doctor appointment when we hear about Michael Jackson's death, and honestly I couldn't belive it, I ask everyone then when we get in the car I turned inmediatly the radio on, to hear it was true, well I'm still in shock actually, I wasn't a huge fan but still he was a very good artist; the I went to a mall and bougth a lovely handbag:) (I love handbags) and then back to home when I watch the beging of project runway season 5 ( I know there is already a seson 6, but what can I do everything arrive to my country late:S), and news when I discover that Farrah Fawcett also die, a sad day for pop culture. On friday I had my cousin's graduation and that's pretty much it!

So apart for my week I have a new idea for snacks that involve ice cream (Yum!)

This one is ice-cream with cupcakes, I acually get it from marthastewart.com, and I found it awesome, it has to be the best summer treat, I haven't try it yet so I don't know how easy would bee to actually eat it, but I guess that if you have fork and take the ice cream at the same time that the cupcake can actually work. Is easy to make you only need well cupcakes, and again you can make them or buy them (without frosting obiously), my advice is to buy Betty Crocker's muffin mix and decorate them yourself, also you can buy cake mix but instead of using a cake pan, you just put the mixture into baking cups!. Anyway when you have your cupcake just scoop some ice cream on top and done!

Summer is here!

So summer is finally here! and for me one of the best things of it, is having time for myself cuz I'm always so busy with school homework and projects that I barely find time to do my hair and nails. But off course, don't matter how much I love relaxing I can't afford going to a spa. So I'm always looking for beauty tips, that help me to feel better without leaving my own house, not even for "ingridients".
One of my favorite is the oatmeal and honey facial mask, is so easy and helpfull; you just mix some oatmeal flakes with honey (I don't know the exact measurement) until it looks like a paste, you spread over your face and wait about 20 to 30 minutes, rinse it with lots of water and that's all! You'll have a smother skin!.
Other tip I love is the vinegar hair wash, this is actually very simple. Sometimes you feel like your hair is dirty and no matter how many time you wash it with your regular shampoo it seems to get dirty easier than normal, so the tip is to use vinegar after you wash your hair, let me explain it better: You wash your hair with regular shampoo and conditioner, then you apply vinegar, you can try the regular bottle of the vinegar (it a little unconfortable but you can use that) or you can find a bottle with a spray it would be easier to apply, then you rinse it very very well and just like that you will have a cleaner hair! But wait probably you are thinking "what about the smell?" well personally I don't think it left a smell but if you think it smells or something you can apply some hair treatment afterwards. By the way I learn this from Jaclyn Smith from Sheer Genius!
Last but not least for tired eyes (tell me about it!) you can use tea bags, you just put them in hot water, as if you were doing rehgular tea, them squeeze them for about 5 minutes and let them cool, put them over your close eyes and relax!

I'm so sorry I haven't post for so long, but I have been really busy and when I say busy I mean the busier I had ever been, you don't imagine, my school went crazy and leave us tons of homework, wich includes a XX century time line (100 years in a time line imagine how long!), a chemestry lab and an Art project, if that wasn't enougth last week I had all term tests, I failed math and I almost die when I found out, I have work so hard this term and the results are not as good as I expected so I'm dissapointed.
Anyway, thank God is holly week now and I'm on vacations and I have kind of two weeks cuz next week is my grade trip to amazon river and I'm not going cuz I don't like that, so I'm pretty happy I don't have homework.
My life is as boring as usual, normal just normal, nothis interesting or amazing just school wich drives me crazy.

School Play!

So yestarday was my school play! I was tired cuz he have rehersals all week and on wednesday we saty at school until 10 o'clock! On thursday was the first time we presented to techers and 11th graders, and they criticized a lot, but the school was nice and gave us the holw day to fix it, so we did it and yesterday we did 7 functions, the hole family day!
Anyway it was pretty cool, evryone like it and the effort was totally worth it! Now I'm just doing homework!

So today I had to go to school, yes today Saturday! cuz I had to go to the rehersal of the play but noone show up, just like 7 girls, so we make the backround and stuff, at 2p.m I leave!
So this week wasn't as bad as the last one, I was so stressed my school is totally mad, last saturday I had to go to school to do a Chemestry/Bio work and I have to do an hour walk in the mountain behind my school, I was close to sue my own school cuz it was unfair! a saturday at 8a.m I was walking up the mountain! argg! besides that I had like a ton of work I have to do a project for art and rehersal on sunday so I cry a bit:).
This week was better I get my daphne outfit and no to much homework exept for the math thing I still have to do:S but is better! I just hope everything worth it!

Home, sweet home!

So the week is over, finally! it's been an interesting week, my first full week since I started school on january, anyway monday was a perfectly normal dat, then on tuesday we visit this university fair, in wich every university on my city have a stand and show you their careers and everything, it was kind of cool, and since I dind't have to wear my unifrm I wear a pair of jeans, pale pink high heels, a white shirt and on top a pale pink sweater (my city is pretty cold), a long pearl necklace and my hot pink designer tote bag ( I haven't told you!! I bougth it! remmemember?), then on wednesday I have to stay at the school up to 4:30 (on wednesday I finish school at 1:40) to a Extened essay metting, in wich teachers talk us about the subjects and stuff, boring!, then thursday a common day and today OMG today!, so in my country there is this like traditin in which 11th graders have a jacket with the name of the school and prom year, (I will show you later) and the man who makes them goes today to show us jacket and hoodie options, that was cool but the I was on my T.O.K class when the fire alarm sound, I was pretty scared, I have been in my school for 12 years and nevere ever, had been a real fire alarm, but today it was real!, the thing was that in the chemestry lab there was this gas scape and something happened and suddenly it was like a huge flame in the lab, with my teacher (Who I looove) inside trying to close the gas thing. My T.O.K teacher is in my school's emergency team so we took the class list and went outside, It was so scary, 9th grades were on the lab, and it really could be me, I've been doing a lab this week! Gosh really I'm still shocked.
So in other thisngs I have to do this school play, in which I'm going to be Daphne from Scooby Doo! totally me! and I love my character but I've staying after school in the school theater for rehearsal, but my grade is soo desorganize that we haven't do anything yet! and I'm desperate! so I stay today, but I stay with Laura talking about childhood because we were friends when we were on second grade, and also talking about our extended essays, so it was fine, but I spend my friday afternoon doing that!
Anyway is all for now, I think I would have a bubble bath and then watch a movie or something!

Sorry I haven'r post in a while I've been kind of busy and really there is nothing really important to talk about, just normal school days, sad days, bad grades, good days, perfect grades.
The truth is that I have ups and downs with school and normally my ups don't get my downs, is wreid, tomorrow starts a new bimester in wich I have to have perfect grades! and is my propuse and I'm doing it!
Apart for school nothing interesting in my life as I say normal and boring school days, homework and more homework, at leats I'm having a great time with my best friend!!

I know in theory....

Hi! So as some of you may know my biggest dream is to get married some day and have a family, but sometimes when everything is quiet and I think about my life, I can't hel wondering if some day I will find my soulmate or if I'm destinate to be alone.
For me getting married is soooo important, and I don't know really why, I guess is because my parents hae a wonderfull marriage and so my grandparents and is something I see myself doing in a few years, however it happens that I'm the only one in my classroom who had never had a boyfriend or any or the thing a boyfriend means, and I'm the one who is more interest in a relationship, a part of me see the good side, you know if I was like most of my friends now I would be regretting relationships I had in sixth grade but another part of me thinks that if I was like most of friends I would be over it, and be more secure about future relationships or whatever.
Deep inside I know that when I grow up and stop beign "girlfriend material" and begin beign "Wife material" I have advantage, because well all my friends may have been girlfriends with the boys we go out or whatever...The thing is now I see myself and everyone else sees me as the one who will get married and hae a family and be all Bree Van de Kamp like, I'm prepared for that but certanly I'm not prepared for spend the rest of my life alone, I had never been alone in my whole life, I'm a twin! so not even when I was an unborn baby.
This is something I think about every day, is not that I'm the only girl who fears this, I have friends in my exact same position...But still I can't help worry about it.
Is curious how girls that aren't interest in a marriage or a serious relationship had have tons of realtionships, when they know they aren't going anywhere, while girls as me and my friends who are interest on that haven't been in a relationship.
Maybe it is because we're all waiting for our Prince charming, while everyone else know they don't want that they just want fun.

I guess this is my vacations...

So, I had been busy lately, I haven't been able to fix my blog :S, everytime I try it just get worse, so I'm keep it simple for now, even if thats not so me., but whatever, I'm going througth this stage in wich I'm not very interest on post on blog.
Actually I'm just doing homework, in vacations yes. I mean is not like real homework, I'm actually doing again something I already did, is just that I'm not happy with my art logbook and since is supposed to be my image and some day it will travel arround the world thanks to IB, I get obsess with improving it, so for the last week or so I been finding images and quotes for it and working on picnik, so hopefully by tomorrow or tuesday the images will be done and I will go and print them near my home (in case you are wondering I do own a printer but it only print black and white), also I'm making my logbook look awesome, like "the book" on the devil wears prada, or similar, when that is done I will write in it.
So yesterday I went to the mall with my mom to watch "Bedtime stories" and walk arround, and the thing is that about 2 weeks ago I bougth this amazing bag in Nine west, wich cost me 100 dollars, and I spend some of my "London trip" saving on it, and kind of told my parents I wasn't going to buy anything else until I'm in London, but yesteday I enter to this store in my country call "Mario Hernandez" a kind of colombian Louis Vuitton, well similar, an see an amazing handbag and I want it!!!!!! Because the Nine west one is like for the laptop (I was using it for school hehe) but is to laptop-ish, so I need a new one for school rigth?.... Is not that my school bag is not good, actually is great is a jiraffe print one like the Dooney and Burke, and I just remember I have a Ralph Lauren one that I bring home from United States, and a white one with polka dots...But bags are my favorite thing in the whole world and you can't have to many bags rigth??...Also my friends know me for having handbag-like bags for scholl instead of just a backpack like evryone else....
Still I'm not 100% sure, I think I'm getting a new one:P

So today was my first day of vacations, in the morning I made a homework and send it to my teacher, then I went to a reunion with my mother's friends it was pretty cool, now I'm leaving to a dinner at my aunt's house, you know Holidays:)
Anyway, my cousins are leaving so yesterday we made like a christmas a little one, so they gave me some amazing gifts: Victoria's Secret Pink perfume!!!!!! Loooove it and two pink t-shirts, amazing too! I'm so happy!
So holidays officially started yesterday in my country, for a week we do like reunions were we pray and eat and talk, unntil chiritmas eve!
I'm exited I'm on vacations!!!!!!!

Chiristmas vacations & party?

Tomorrow is my last day of school this year, today I'm planing to arrived a little late so I can see my best friend who lives in Mexico and arrived here on friday and is leaving today, I haven't seen her yet. Still Im feeling kid of guilty of missing this day, I was supposed to be in my school to be in a community service activite and well I'm not there, I'm only goig to school to make a Theory of Knowlege term test, I just wish that staying at home is wothing and that I see my best friend today.
Anyway I can't wait till vacations, is only two days away but I'm desperate, my brother is already in vacations and all my friends are in vacations too, so I'm pretty much the only in school with my school friends obiously.
This chiritmas will be kind of lonely for my family, cuz my aunt is leaving to United States and my aunt is leaving to Santa Marta, wich leave only my grandparents, my parents and my aunt....iI'm not used to so little chiritmas parties, I love when the whole family is together and there are like a million gifts in the chiristmas tree, well I guess you don't always get what you want:S, the thing is now that we're growing up, the family seems to think is not important to us, that we don't care if there are 3 or 30 people in the party, ut tha truth is that I do care, I love chiristmas but if there is only 6 people I can't get the feeling, also my grandmother (my dad's mother) is getting surgery the 19th so we're pretty sure she will be on the hospital on chiristmas, so...
Anyway Chiristmas is chiristmas and I'm happy this time of the year is here, can't wait till wednesday!

So today was an interesting day, I went to school made my philosophy term test and at 9:30 my grandfather pick me at school and leave me at my house, since 10 till 3:00 I was working on a chemestry lab, well you know the writing par of it. My brother start vacations today, I'm so jealous. So this had been an interesting week, I had have stress, happines and all emotions. I have to tell you that yesterday I started talking again with a friend, I was actually thinking he had erase me from msn, but no...I used to have a crush on him, I'm not sure what's happening rigth now but well the time will tell.
Remmember the guy that have a crush on me, well today he told one of my brother's friends (wh is in my house) that he will stop trying, I kind of fell guilty abou it, but I didn't had a crush on him so it was kind of cruel giving him any hopes don't you think?

So Today was my math term test and yesterday was my chemestry term test so I'm done with the most scariest tests, anyway I still have like 5 or more ahead. Life for me is pretty stessed rigth now, yeaterday I cry cuz I was really deperate, my mom offer to pick me up early so I did't have to present my art project, so that's why I'm in my home, I have to start preparing my expocition cuz I don't know when is going to be.

Pretty stressed!

So, I haven't post lately and I have a really good reason, actually two, the first one is that my school is getting harder and harder and I'm totally stressed, at the begining of the term I got really bad grades and I'm trying my best to make them up and don't have any problem, but the thing is we have so much things to do is crazy:
- Art proyect & a notebook for art with information
- Test week from 9 to 16
- Homework
- C.A.S = Community service, only that HARDER!
So I'm stressed somethin commun on me! and on top of it I'm thinking noone reads my blog anymore, I get like one comment or something I'm so sad about it cuz I looooove blogging and i love my blog, I feel that this is my place to share my life!

Guess What?

Guess What?... Someone have a crush on me! and the worse part is I don't have a crush on him or anything close to it! I'm kind of desperate with this cuz he call me and send me facebook messages and, AND he's on my brother's school, so pretty much everyone I know, know that he have a crush on me!!...One of my friends know him and now she's telling everyone he will be my boyfriend and bla bla bla, the thing is I'm not interested and he dosen't seem to get the message and either my friends.
I mean he's friend of my brother and is not bad to talk to him but come on! he's like younger than me in every aspect, he's shorter than me and even thiner than me! No, no no no no!
I keep wondering why this strange things keep happening to me, earlier this year some other boy did kind of the same, and eventually he stop calling me and everything. In part I balme myself, onece someone ask me the kind of boys I like, and I answered that I like boys that call me and text me and all, but this wasn't in any way what I picture, when I answer that I was aswering thinking in a relationship, you know that your boyfriend call you and stuff but not someone you don't like!
I still son't know what to do with it, and tomorrow I have school!, I wish no one starts the subject of thi boy:S:S

Back to Basics

Hi! So today I make a decition, I going to take my life back to was used to be, well most of it...And I'm satrting with my blog as you see I change templates and this cupcake template was my blog's first template and not only that, now I will post more on my blog and not only about my life but about recipes and fashion as I used to.
The reason I made this decition is because I need a change in my life right now, I'm really stressed and the results at the schools dosen't match my effort, so since today I'm going to try my best to have good grades and continue happy and bubbly. Since my blog is the mirrow of my life I will change it too, for better of couse!
I will try to post daily or weekly and respond to every comment I get, I also will try to comment in your blogs and be a more active member. I'm very exited about this changes and I hope I get the results I'm expecting, getting part of my life back, part of that life that unnecessary stress had take me!

What a week

What a busy and bad week for me, seriously! I have like 3 test and I guess I kind of failed most of them, actually I don't guess I know I failed two of them, also our Community service proyect is kind of failing, let me tell you the story: My school is like really into "help others" so since I was a little girl I was going to visit sick children or visiting my school foundation for less fortunate kids, I have to say I had always love going there, helping others and making them smile, but this year everything changes with the IB program, my school just get it, my grade will be the first to have it, so the IB have this C.A.S program (Creativity, action & service) which changes all my plans of visiting kinder gardens of less fortunate kids. So the point is my group of C.A.S needs to plan a play, it all started very well but know the play is on monday(yes 3 days away) and well noone is going, we invited like 50 schools and 49 said NO so I'm depressed and stressed caz tomorrow I have to go to school to paint the backround of the play...Actually I like to paint but the thing is it dosen't supossed to be my work but the girls that have to do it did't do anything so my partener in publicity and I have to do it... Apart for that I'm have really bad grades this term that is just starting!!! Really I just bad! OMG know I feel like crying!

So as everybody knows friday was halloween, what an awesome day is was fun fun fun! (pictures below) Also that day my teacher gave my the term grades, a little mistake with physics remember my problem? well now I'm over it, anyway I failed physics but I'm in a 3.7 over 5 in general, so I think is pretty good, I will work harder to be maybe in a 4.0 or something.

So another week ended today, and well I missed school on tuesday and wednesday cuz I was kind of sick, and on wednesday I have an stress attack and I kind of freak out because my art proyect wasn't ready and I was supposed to present it on thursday, and everything was like mix up, it was my father birthday and my hole family was in my house, and the typical comment of "it's just art"...Gosh is not just "art" is way more than that. Is IB's Visual arts! I have a lot of preassure and to tell you the truth I'm not good mannaging preassure I'm way to anxios and I can't stop the anxienty when everything is going wrong, but seriously it was so bad my stess attack that in the nigth I cry a lot, alone (kind of pathetic I know) but sometimes I feel like a faliture and noone support me, I feel like I have no friends to talk about this stuff, I mean I have friends lots of them but none of them is comprehensive with my and my obssesion of beign perfect.
My mom is so great, the day after that, she spoke with me and told me she and my dad are worried about me cuz I worry way to much about school, they were even thinking on changing me of school, but I love my school, only one year and a half to graduate for it.
Anyway today was supposed to be a day off, in which teachers have grades to parents and weel I don't have classes, but the system fell so, I have school today but it was funny almost nobody went! so we were 15 girls in 10th grande and 3 girls in my own classroom, so I didn't have classes I just spend the day in my school doing nothing! YAY!
And also, well I think noone reads my blog anymore, so I'm not sure about continue it or what...Just leave comments to tell me your opinions!

Weekend again!

Finally weekend! this morning I had to wake up early to go to my school to a first communion, it was the fisrt communion of the kids od my school's fundation, my school's fundation is a school, where kids which live in lower classes, so basically like 50 years ago some students started this project and now is a reality, actualy right now 10th grade (me) are working to help them cause they have problems with the structure of the school and if this problems aren't solve before 2010 the fundation have to close, so we're doing our best!...Anyway I change the subect, so I wake up early and went there and I remmember about my own first communion, gosh that was years ago and now I'm graduating next year, that makes me kind of sad.
Apart for that I had a rought week, grade were almos given and next friday we have this day were the parents go to the school talks with the class teacher and them give us an inform with the grades, guess what, I failed chemestry, my parents are not the kind of parents that yelled and punish me for the grades, they now I put a lot of efford and I have a lot of pressure and actually I get more stressed that I should, anyway is a busy weekend full of homework and art project, what a surprise.
Besides school not much happening in my life, kind of boring as always, the only exing bit is that halloween is comming I'm not sure wich costume I'm wearing, it deppends in my school plans, I was thinking of The wizard of Oz's Dorothy or maybe a fairy but with a really cute ballet kind outfit, not sure yet...What are you wearng for halloween night?...Leave comments!!

School...Kind of suck!

So, today was my first day of school, and well I failed phisics Again! sucks! but well I can't do anything for it. Anyway as far as I concern that's the only subject I'm failing this term, is been a hard term and I'm really sleppy right now cause the shedule of my school! can you belive I entered at 7 am and my bus pick me up at 6:15 am Gosh!
The day (apart for the failing) was actually pretty good, on Math my teacher told me she thinks I pass!!! Great!, then my social studies teacher didn't go, so free time! then I had P.E and well it wasn't that bad hehe I don't like it very much, then on english class we strated a movie, Dawn Anna, I don't know if you had seen it but is kind of sad. Finally on chemestry the teacher give me the term test and I passed!!!
So watching it know it wasn't that bad, I saw my friends and we have a great time today, the luch was kind of bad you know, but this really nice cafeteria lady gave my two desserts OMG I had forgot about that, she's so nice, she gave me and my friends another dessert, but she said like "No I can't do it" and she was gaving them to us, sooo cute:)

So tomorrow I start classes again, back to school!, not so exiting, a new term is starting and well I have no idea how this first term went...well anyway I was just thinking about time and well is passing by so quickly, it seems like it was yesterday when summer vacations started and now I'm 8 weeks away christmas vacations, OMG!! if time continue passing so quickly I will graduate sooo quiclky, God!
Anyway I don't want to wake up early tomorrow!!! I hate waking up early when is still dark (As usually in my case) and going to school with rain or when is sooo cold, but I'm happy to see my friends again, ask them how their art projects are going and stuff like that. My vacation week pass by quickly! and even when my art project is almost finished I feel like it was a normal week, nothing special happen and it was kind of fun kind of boring, I don't know I just wish vacations were longer and than tomorrow I can wake up at a normal hour, I mean when the sun is out. When I'm on vacations I sleep until 9 or 10 and the sun actually bothers me so somethimes I used those masks for slepping hahaha, now I know is time to put it away again some time until vacations hahahaha.

A little vacations...

So I'm on holiday week, just a little break of 10th grade. So last week I has term tests, and I hope I get good grades, remember the cheerleading contest? well we loose:(, it was kind of depressing our dance was the best but we have some mistakes, in case you're wondering, I don't dance, I'm not part of the team, I had try twice to enter but is hard:S and also they practice so much! Anyway I had a great time with my friends in the contest even when it was in a place with so little space for everyone, but it was fun, exept for the loser part:S.
This week I'm doing an art project, kind of hard, this time I'm making a dress with a fabric I designed..Tomorrow the fabric will be done and I will start, I'm kind of afraid...First I go with a lady that make dresses but she couldn't have the dress in the rigth time, so I decide to try to do it myself, I hope it will be easy I already seen tons of how to's and stuff like that.

So, I haven't post in a while cause I been so busy with homework and horse riding lessons and parties hehe. Really 10th grade is getting harder and harder everytime and my stress levels are coming up and up, so I'm like in a bad mood and kind of sad cause I'm not getting very good grades, I mean is not like I'm failing evrything or something, but still it freaks me out, is my responsability to get good grades and I'm not doing it well, but still I guess I'm not that bad I had made several lists ans stuff and is not that but, I'm worring too much.
This week is a busy week, we have like 5 term test plus on wednesday the semifinal of a cheerleading contest and on friday the final, don't think I'm planing to go to the final without knowing if my school pass or don't, is just that is commun that my school pass to the final, my hole school know it, I guess all know. So I think I'm going on friday cause on thursday I have chemestry term test and on friday math term test, so I'm going to study tomorrow that I have school until 1:30p.m and I have my "homework class" hahahahaha.
Anyway next week is like break week, I don't have school since monday to next tuesday, so I'm really looking forward to it...
In case you're wondering about the friendship and love day, well it wnded pretty good, the only incident was that one of the girls of the grade I was giving cookies to, start like a little fogth saying I forgot a brownie and bla bla bla, I wass so pissed cause I was sure I gave it to her, I run to get her another brownie with a card and when I went back she had find it, I mean come on!! so Camila (my best friend and parter in the brownie thing) and I were really angry with this 6th grade girl, at the end it all ended well, some local grups went to my school and play we sing have some contest and well it was a good day, and everybody likes my cookies!!! hehehe.
So I will post about my tests results and the cheerleading contest!

So today I missed school because of the flu, so I used my free time today to bake cookies for my friend for the friendship and love day, and well It as kind of a faliture, because first of all the dough wasn't good so I had to add more flour and then I have a hard time decorating them. OMG I feel so bad, even so the ended beign no so bad and I'm still giving them to my friends, I hope them like my cookies. But for sure I'm not making cookies in a long time...I have to make clear that I usually make really good cookies, the thing is today I as using a new recipe and it wasn't good:S.

I'm sick!

So I'm sick I have the flu and I hate it, I missed school on wednesday and I was feeling better on thursday but on friday gets worse, I was without voice and yesterday it just have me everything, I spent the hole day in my house, just went out like half an hour to Blockbuster and rent some movies, and today I'm in my club feeling bad:(.
It's awfull, I mean I was exited cause tomorrow I have to stay at my school after classes to organized the brownies thing (remmember?) and Laura was going after to my house to do a work for english but now I feel terrible! I hata hate hate hate the flu.

A day in my life!

So, today was a crazy day for me, first of all I was busy this morning with lots of things I was taking my laptop to school and I left in my home a binder where I have something for spanish class and an essay for philosophy and also I left a book!! a book I had borrowed for my spanish teacher! So when I arrived to school with my really heavy jiraffe print tote bag (beacuse of my laptop) I realize all the things I had left behind in my house, so I call my mom and she take the book to my school:). I will tell you the hole day.
Bus trip from my house to school I was soo sleepy, and some girl take out my laptop and put some music and a little girl start singing songs in english but of course she is so little she dosen't know a lot of english yet (in case you don't know my first lenguage is spanish), so this little girl was hillarious hahaha I laughed a lot. Then I arrived to school and realize all the things I left in my house and I haven't done a homework, what a way to start the day. Then english class, boring as usual my teacher Charlie is kind of mean, in my school we have this tradition that the 10th grade girls sell cookies in this time of the year cause in my country we celebrate like a friendship and love day on september, so we (10th graders) sell cookies or brownies to all the school and is just like a little paper with little cards and you write the girls who buy you and then the day of friendship and love day we have the brownies to everyone. Is fun! and if you're popular you ended up with tons of brownies or cookies or whatever girls are selling that year. So back to english one of my classmate was coloring the little cards and the teacher took them so she told him that he can't do that cause there were the names of all the girls and all 10th grade will be in trouble if those brownies wasn't delivered, and he LAUGHED!!! I was really angry, he just think he is better than us or something and he is totally not!. So then I don't know how my friend get back her cards and everything was Ok again.
Then spanish, just the hole two hours writing an essay about "Medea", a Greek play. So at the end I send it to my teacher by mail, and now I'm insecure about it, what if I get a low grade and I failed?...OMG! Well what is done is done...so nothing to do with it.
Then recess and remember my philosophy essay left on the binder on my house? I had to print it, and do a homework and argg!! so in recess I was suppoused to do that but I didn't, and thank god my philosophy teacher (who I lovve, is like the best teacher ever) didn't go to class, and we happen to have 4 hole hours with him, 2 of philosophy and two of T.O.K (theory of knowledge) so in that time, my great friend Laura lend me her social studies homework and all the 8 girls in my classroom talked about this "secret friend" game (you know the one in which there are like all the names of the classmates in a bowl and you pick one and have to keep the secret and give her little details for some time until one day everyone gave a gift to her secret friend?) and Laura and just sit there on facebook and listening music on my laptop and talking about old times. The thing about Laura is that she and her twin sister used to be in a grade higher than mine but they failed 1 grade and Laura entered to my room, and we were really good friends like for two years util we ended on different classrooms and we kind of, stop talking for a while. But know we are together again and she seats next to me and well is great, I'm happy I'm again with her. So then lunch time, I just spend it with my best friend studying for a social studies quiz and talking about plans for the future. Then social studies, a quiz!!! It was hard! I think I maybe failed or got like a 3 or something:S. Then I take the bus to get to my home and in my home there was my brother, a friend of him and my mother, we eat like cupcakes and then my cousin arrived and I started an art project, and well a quiet afternoon for me, no Ugly Betty:( (God I love it, the original one.) and well now I'm really sleepy I think I will eat something and go to bed!

That's the way it's supposed to be...

So, wednesday, half of the week and what a busy week! I have an examan tommorow and I have to end an art project for monday...Anyway on monday I saw the trailer of the movie of confessions of a shopaholic, remember? My favorite book ever, and well is not the same, first of all because they took the first 3 books and made only one single movie, second most of the actors don't match the book's characters (I mean hair color, accent, etc) But still it looks like a great movie, I think I going to see it when it comes out on february. What else in my life? Nothing really importatnt just school, and I have to say I'm loving school, 10th grade is going so well I love my classroom I love my friends and the topics are fine, I mean obiously some classes are boring sometimes, but is great. Such a small class (8 most of the time) and well the fact that I love my school sooo much, is incredible that in two years I'll be done with it, I had been in my school since I was four and I'm still in it, I never was the new girl or something like that and I have such great memories. I know that if when I grow up and get married and have children I'm still living in my country my daugthers are going to my school, no matter what everybbody thinks about it, is kind of a family tradition cause my grandmother studied in my school and also my mother, and my aunts and my great aunts and kind of everyone in my family, well is because is the best school EVER! hahaha I think I sound a little too schoolholic...hahahaha, well I don't know why I have this sudden love for my school, I mean I love it but... Well you get me!

Just a monday...

So today is monday as every of you know, I'm now in my house after school watching the original version of Ugly Betty (in case you don't know the original Ugly Betty is from my country), anyway this was just a monday with nothing big, almost..boring. I went to school and spent the hole day with my friends...Oh I forgot to tell you, remmember that my school have this rule in wich you have a lunch table for ever, and I ended in a table without my best friend? Guess what?...Now my best friend change tables, so I'm with her on lunch time:).
Anyway weekend wasn't that exiting, nothing fun to share just a normal and simple weekend which I don't like very much.

So, you have to know I have some kind of obsession of aving everything as perfect as possible and were I'm able to show how perefctionist I am is in school, my notebooks are in cursive letter with 5 different colors, I used hot pink for the date, orange for the title, green for the subtitle, clear blue for other things and deep blue for the text. All my things in the school are organized and I heve to be looking good in the school, I always do my hair in the mornings, just a tiny bit of makeup, my nails are done and I have my bracelts and watch, I wear my uniform perfectly just with a touch of pink ere and there (watch and sometimes headband). I'm not sure you're intesested on everything I just wrote but the point is that I put a lot of effort on my and my things so everyone who see them notice how perfectionist I am and ow organized I am and it is just because I'm kind of insecure so I rather have everything under control that having everyting in disorder and not beign able to answer the way I'm supposed to, anyway the thing is that in the school and everywere I'm showing everyone who I am, I like the fact that wen I'm walkingin te mall people turn their heads to see me just because I take risk and choose to wear high heels when evryone else is wearing ballet flats, and I like the fact that in school people know me for something good and not for beign the mean girl or the rude one.
I'm happy with myself and my advice to you is to look inside of you and find your real you and show it to the world, in a good way, in a way other people see it and feel jealous about it, in a way you are te celebrity in your own movie, in your own runway that is the world.

Normal Week!

Hi! So this week is a normal school-week for me, in this week we're actually starting with the subjects and everything so I'm getting used to it, my classroom is pretty small, we're only 8 girls so it's pretty easy understand what teachers are telling us and honestly I love my classroom, even when none of the girls that is in it is like a close friend of mine I like them all, and is awesome I mean it's a little sad that I'm in a classroom without all my friends but looking the positive thing on it I'm able to open up a little bit and meet new people, and maybe this will be my best year cause when I'm with none of my friends obiously I pay more attention and everything don't you think?
Today I'm just having my nails done and later I have to go to some classes just beacuse my mom think my brother and I need some teachers to help us, and its really just beacuse my brother failed last year so he's again in nineth grade, but honestly I pass, I'm in 10th grade now, I think that mean I can do it myself, but my mom don't listen to me she said is better to me in the first term having a little help...I guess she's rigth but I don't want to go today! but I have to so I'm going to give the best of me:)

Its Friday!

Hi! Today is my first 10th grade friday and monday is holiday in my country so I'm having a 3 day weekend! The week was pretty good, most of my classes are great and I'm really happy in my classroom. My best friend is now back from Canada! and even when her is not in the same classroom than me in most of the classes we spent the recess together, unfurtunatly I can't spent lunch time with her because some stupid new rule in my school, in which you have the same table for all the year with the same girls and a teacher with us that watch the way we eat, speak and everything in the table, and my best friend is not in my table:S But apart for that is awesome! I totally love 10th grade! even when like real classes haven't started yet I think that this will be a great year, and I have to keep my mind positive through the year cause is a hard one with the new IB (International Baccalaureate) program in my school, but I think that since we are the first grade to have the chance of having it, it will be easier! So that's all I have for now, apart for school my life is normal and quiet as usual, the only thing I dn't like about school is that I have to wake up early and I don't have enougth time to read my books:( But I will do my best! and I promise I will do my best with posting too!

Hi! Yesterday was my first day at school, it was kind of a busy day, the entire day we have talks about how is going to be, and the subjects we're having, at the end we choose in which classes are we going to be and organize our stuff and that kind of things.
So this two days had been pretty cool, my classroom is only of nine girls! which is amazing!!! today we have some class and I already have social studies homework:S but is ok I have the most beautiful notebooks that I bougth at Agatha Ruiz de la Prada and Jordi Labanda! I love them! well there is really nothing more!

Just Another Day!

Hi! So this passed days had been kind of boring for me and this sunday is nos the exeption , I'm in my house and my mom is having a family reunion, you have to know that I love my family but the thing is that my mom's family live in the same building that me and they come every minute, sometimes is good that you have visits but other don't, you know what I mean?...I love them but they spent so many time in my house, that they don't let me do the things I have to do and sometimes I need time for my own. Today I'm just stress out by this cause seriously they spent the whole day here doing nothing and don't letting me do something they interrupt me so often! Don't get me wrong is good to have family arround and everything but you also need your own space and time, I actually think this is affecting me cause I used to be so bubbly and happy when I had visits but now I kind of hate visits, well some visits...For instance I'm watching a movie, and the doorbell rings and my aunt come in and began to watch the movie with me, but beacuse she came late she missed half of the movie and spent the half left asking about everything so at the end of the movie I don't really get it, cause I had to explain it, and that happen with everything! when I'm in the computer someone come and ask me what I'm doing and sit next to me watching everything I do, is not that I'm doing anything wrong but come on! I'm talking with my friends I don't need someone next to me reading everything I write!

School, School, School

Hi! Today I went to my school to get some of my supplies, I still have to buy the notebooks ans somethings, I also bougth uniforms. You don't imagine how much stuff do I need to 10th grade, Its a lot!! seriously and the chemistry book is huge!!...Anyway after that I came to my home and paint my nails and then I went to Physics class because I failed so I have to do this stupid workshop to give it to my teacher later Gosh! I really hate summer homework. Anyway I'm now in my house watching friends and eating a Mc Donald's Mc Flurry!
I'm kind of sad the summer is ending and that soon I'll be back to school, but in other way I miss my friends andI have some goals for this year, I'm trying to be kind of a workaholic this year as I used to be and see if I get better grades, it not that I'm a bad student I'm actually a good one (except in Physics) but I don't want to have a bad time thinking if I aprove or failed, also my school is getting harder and harder and this year will be really hard, beacause we just get the Ib and bla bla bla, my mom sais I must have some teachers that help me with homework and that kind of stuff cause I get really stress out about school and be kind of perfect in all my subjects and well I always have some difficult days in wich I get a lot of things together and I cry or something cause I can't do it all at the same time and my mom is trying to make thing easier for me helping me so sweet!! Anyway nothing else for now.

Almost Over Summer:(

Hi! I don't know you but at leat my summer is almost over, I'm leaving to my country tomorrow and in two weeks I have my first day of school :( can you believe it?? Well the good part is that I make most of my back-to-school shopping here in United States and I got fabulous pink stuff I love, the thing is I'm kind of sad that my summer is over, I mean the next summer will be my last summer on school and seriously I love my school (just for you to know I'm in my school since I was four, in my country there is not separate elementary school, high school and that).
Anyway I had had a great summer, the only thing is that I totally want to see Mamma mia, you know the movie, and my mother didn't take me and I'm not sure is in my country yet, but what can I do? Nothing!. I just start reading Bratfest at Tiffany's (a little late I know) I had read like the half of it or a little less and I don't know I'm still not used to the girl and boy school and the pretty committee beign ignored by everyone and Cam Fisher with Olivia, well I hope that everything in the book improve and I'm waiting for the movie! even when I saw the trailer and the Pretty Committe looks nothing as I imagine them but well they can make it they way I picture it hahahahaha!

Hi there! Yeah I know I been missing for a while now, but I was kind of busy you know, it was my birthay, then my trip and summer camp, so anyway today I'm alone in the apartment we rented in Fl and I think that a new post in my blog will be fun. So while I was "missing" I read 3 book, that's rigth 3 hole book in less than 2 weeks! The thing is I love this "Shopaholic" series books, I get the first one last year and took it home with all "the Clique "books less one (Bratfest at Tiffany's), and tha truth is that I don't like it (Confessions of a Shopaholic) from the first moment, so I only buy that one and go home, then when I read it I realize that is a great book, is my favorite you know!, so as soon as I got back to USA I bought the other 4 books in the series, I got them in the wrong order but I don't care I just read them all in the wrong order and them read them again in the right order! just an excuse!!! Anyway I love those books, actually there is a movie in progress, but I don't think It will be as good as the books really, even when the actors are great and everything I think they put the first 3 books in the first movie and I don't think that will work, but well they must know what they are doign rigth? Well you must be bored with my little book paragraph, but actually there's not much more of my summer really, today my best friend arrives to Miami so I think I will see her on saturday or something and I had bougth a lot of stuff and need to get more clothes!! Hi Today as some of you know is my birthay!!! I'm turning 16!! I'm not having a sweet sixteen party because in mu country we celebrate the 15 birthay.

Hi! I know it had been like a year since my last post (I'm so sorry). Now I'm here and summer vacations are here two, for me one of the best things of summer is to drink a big glass of lemonade in hot summer afternoon, so I found this grest recipe at Martha Stewart's web page and in case you want to have two great things in one: pink and lemonade, take note!:

Pink Lemonade:

You will need:
- 1 cup granulated sugar - 2 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice, plus 4 lemons, thinly sliced crosswise, for garnish - 1 1/2 cups superfine sugar - 2 cups cranberry juice How to: - Bring granulated sugar and 1 cup water to a boil in a medium pan over high heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour.
- Add lemon juice, superfine sugar, cranberry juice, and 1 1/2 quarts water to a serving container. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate until ready to serve, up to 1 day.
- To serve, add ice cubes to fill and garnish with lemon slices. I hope you like it and enjoy it! If you taste it please tell me about! XOXO Tatis

Hi! I just have an amazing week wich I enjoy a lot so here it is: Monday: Holiday! so I go to my club and then get back to my home and have a quiet afternoon. Tuesday(Best day): At the morning at school I recive an invitation for a party wich look fantastic, then my mother pick me up early and we go with a friend with the Miguel Bose's concert wich was absolutley amazing! It was one of the best concerts in my life, now I'm totally a big fan of him, I was before like forever but now I'm a bigger fan. Wednesday: Kind of sad, I want to go back in time to go to the concert again and there was a posibility of going to the concert again that nigth because there were 2 concerts here but my mom have a dinner so we don't go:(, but I wen dress shopping all afternoon with my mom, I don't find anything but I have a great evening. Thursday: I was still thinking in the concert (I'm kind of obsessed), anyway we went dress shopping again and decide ti buy the fabric and just do it, well obiously a modist is going to do it. Friday: Quiet day, I went to the modist and to several stores I buy some thing but nothing important. So there was my week and in case you don't know how Miguel Bose is, I will put a song of him in my blog Ipod and a photo, he only sings in spanish but is great!.I'm defenitly a big fan of him!! Just Believe

Hi! The last week the phrase "Just Believe" had been stuck in my head for not apparently reason, I write it everywere and every day I think about it, maybe is a massage saying me I have to believe a little more in myself and my friends, and that soon everything will be ok again or maybe I'm just crazy. The truth is that I'm kind of sad this days, my best friend (as some of you migth now) Is in Canada and she's thinking about staying a little longer and the my classroom is such a mess and I'm feeling like I don't really belong there, even if I'm since preschool in my school (Which I love) I think almost every day that I'm just someone else filling a spot and if I leave noone will notice, I just don't know why everything and everyone change that quickly, last week I was feeling like I was important to someone, that I'm someone and this week I'm feeling like I'm falling apart, that I can't do this anymore, that I'm weak. I know that my problems are small comparing with other ones but if you imagine that the girls in my school can't be that mean your wrong, and the worse part is that seem so nice and then they ignore you and start leaving you apart. I'm very sad rigth now. I'm sorry if you don't like this post, its just that I have this need to open myself and I think my blog is a great place to do it. I will post something happier soon! The best gift for everyone is candy! Everybody loves candy, so when you are looking for a little gift to someone special or for a birthday present, candy are definetly a great choice, off course you're not only giving a tiny little candy.
The best way to ive candies is wraping them with a ribbon or putting them in a really nice bag, you can almost bake some cupcakes (yum!) or cookies and give them with some candies.
The better choice with this candy gifts, are the candies that have some kind of shapes, you can find them pretty easly and for most of the occassions.

Hi! Who say party? Well as some of you must now I was on a party last saturday, so here is one of the pictures with my friends Angie (Withe) and Ana (Purple) We have such great time, we dance and the food was delicious! It was soup, tangarine sherbet and meat with chicken and cake! Also we have some smothies and champagne (not my thing) Anyways here is one picture promise I post more later.

Hi! Cookies are great for every occassion a birthday a sleepover or just to eat them during lunch time at school! There are some brands that sold this packs with pre-made cookie dougth so you only put water on it, or just cut it and bake them, well half the fun of cookies is making them. I'm not saying this pre-made cookies dougths are bad (O God not the cookies you made with them are great!) But once in a while is fun to make hem yourself! So here is a recipe I found on internet, I personally have made them several times and them are great!
Recipe:
Makes twenty-six 5-inch cookies or 8 1/2 dozen 1 1/4-inch cookies

You need:
- 1 pound unsalted butter
- 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 cups packed light-brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 3 cups plus 2 tablespoons pastry flour
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 pounds Jacques Torres House (60 percent cocoa) Chocolate or other best-quality semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, coarsely chopped

How To:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or nonstick baking mats; set aside.
2. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Reduce speed to low and add both flours, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, and chocolate; mix until well combined.
3. Using a 4-ounce scoop for larger cookies or a 1-ounce scoop for smaller cookies, scoop cookie dough onto prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake until lightly browned, but still soft, about 20 minutes for larger cookies and about 15 minutes for smaller cookies. Cool slightly on baking sheet.

Hi! Well I think I have the confidence with all of you pretty readers to talk you about my weeks, well off course I will still post things about fashion, books and bakery (I know so much time scince the last recipe sorry:( ) Anyways were I'm and I'm going to talk you about my week.
Week!
Monday: No school! because it was holiday and we have just return for holly week. I went to my club and have a great time!
Tuesday: First day of school scince a more then a week, everyone asking were we go and that stuff, I have art class and begin painting my proyect (I love it, I will post it when it is ready), then my teacher told me I had fail math!...nigth was kind of sad! the dress I was planinig to use on a party on saturday don't fit me, well is kind of bad done!
Wednesday: Art class! school was good but the lunch was awfull, when I arrive to my home my father told me that I should buy a new dress! So I went to Zara and buy a strapless, black dress, with fit me really nice!
Thursday: I arrive to school and only eigth girls pass chemestry and I'm one of them!! I soooo happy then some girl I don't even talk with, told me she had the same dress (:s) all day she and her friends were telling me that I copy her bla, bla, bla, but the truth is she don't even talk! I had ask her like a 100 time how is her dress and she had never tell me, because she is kind of shy but that shyness that you don't understand. My god she's been on the school scince preschool! Anyways I arrive and told my mother the story and she tell me thet I should change the dress, so I did it (for one better - The one in the photo) and well finally my day have a happy ending.
Friday: Today! Well scholl was kind of good, I go to social service and then I don't have spanish class because my teacher was sick so we made some funny calls and laugth sooo much. Nothing in the afternoon, I just want to rest tomorrow is a busy day hehe!

Confessions of a Shopaholic!

Hi! I'm so sorry (again) for not writing here in so much time, this time I promise I will write more often in my blog, at least once a week, It's just that I had been to busy with all the exams and homework of the school. But here I am and this time I'm going to talk about a great book I just finish for second time, yes I read this book twice because its kind of the best book I had ever read.
Confessions Of A Shopaholic!! This amazing book is about Rebecca Bloomwood, a finacial reporter who lives in London with her best friend Suze, the thing is that Rebecca love to shop (as all of us:) ) but she buys more that she can pay. I'm not going to tell you anything else because I will ruin you the entire book.
One of the thing I like the most about this book was that is pretty real and have a pretty great end, I have only read the first one :( I have to wait until I travel on summer vacations to get the other four: Shopaholic takes Manhattan, Shopaholic Ties the Knot, Shopaholic and Sister and last but not least Shopaholic and baby.
I'ts my recomendation for you! Hope you read it and enjoy it as much as I did!

Pop Art!

Hi! Sorry I haven't write here like forever! I blame school! hahaha.
Pop art is a visual art movement that used very simple characteristcs and brigth colors.
Nowadays pop art is used in bags, notebooks, etc. And it is great. If you want to give a touch of color to you room what better that a pop art painting, it dosen't have to be expensive, you can print something that is on the internet or make it yourself, it's not difficult I promise!
anyways I have to do a art proyect based on one especific subject, I choose pop art because I found it very nice, well the thing is I need to make a painting in wich I made a nowadays celebrity in Pop Art, kind of comparating it with Marilyn Monroe. Any ideas???? If you have one please tell me!

A really great application is bumper sticker, whic allows you put images on your profiles, tis images are mostly great pictures and quotes that help you show your personality on your own profile, there sre horoscope, quizes, graffitywall and lots of other things, I already have my own profile do you?

Candy Lipgloss!

Hi! Sorry I haven't write here like forever, but I was kind of busy because I'm back to school, Well but I'm back, on christmas I recive this awesome lip gloss that are flavored like skittles, peppermint and starburst. I love them! Probably you already know about them but I just want to share with you this amazing lip gloss. For me is the perfect combination of candy and make up, th best of all is that you don't get the calories that candy bring up! (hehehe).
This lip gloss comes in lots of flavors and sre made by several companies, mines are for lip smacker (www.smackers.com) Thay also come on other flavors such as strawberry and coke! Try them and if you already know them tell me what you think about them!

Berry Cupcakes!

Hi! Personally I love cupcakes and berries, so when I found this recipe in the web I was so exited!! So I want to share it with all of you. Hope you like it, enjoy!

Berry Cupcakes: (Makes about 12 cupcakes)
You need:
1 Cup of butter or margarine (softened)
2 Tablespoons of vainilla extract.
1 1/3 Cup of sugar
4 Eggs (Separeted)
3 Cups of self-rising flour
1 Cup of milk
2 Cups of frozen blackberries, blueberries or raspberries (Drained)
How To:
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Grease 12 muffing cups.
Beat the butter or margarine,vainilla and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg yolks, one at a time.Fold in the flour and milk alternating the tow.
Beat the egg whites until soft peaks form and fold into the mixture.
Fill the cups halfway with the mixture, then top with berries and the remaining mixture.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.

Decorate them:
A great idea to decorate this Berry cupcakes is to used buttercream with the same color of the Berry you use and put it in the top of the cupcake with a spatula, when you are done put a single berry on top, as in the picture.

Note: Sorry I don't find a picture of the extact recipe but I find this one to show you how to decorate them!
